Mackenzie has worked professionally in the fashion industry for seven years - this doesn't count the years of girlhood playing dress-up. Dressing up is her favorite thing to do. To her, it's an art. We are requesting all of our guests to dress their best! 





Please wear black formal attire.





We are requesting you to wear a black formal dress that is below the knee. It does not have to be all black! If you find a dress you love with white, nude, or other subtle colors we love it. Detail and prints are also more than acceptable as long as the primary color is black!

Block heels will be most comfortable for you to walk in (or any formal flat shoe). The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place in grassy locations around the park. The walkways connecting the park together are made of brick; we don't want anyone twisting an ankle from wearing a pointy heel. We will leave the final decision up to you, this is just a suggestion. No preference on the color of your shoes or accessories!

Please don't feel like you have to rent a tux. Although we are requesting black formal attire, we want this day to be fun for you and for us. We appreciate you coming and taking part of our special day; do not burden yourself with renting or purchasing. If you don't already own a black sport coat, and have no desire to purchase, that's okay! A white or black button up shirt (with or without patterns) and black or dark gray pants is more than acceptable.

BUT, if you do own a black sport coat, or a tuxedo, we would love to see you all dressed up! We will leave this decision in your hands.
