Tallahassee is a college town and October is football season! Go Noles! On Saturday the 5th, FSU will be playing Clemson at home. It will be a busy weekend in town.

Hotels in Tallahassee and Thomasville (GA) will not offer block rooms during FSU home game weekends. The rooms that are available will go for an elevated rate. If you can find a hotel room you are comfortable with, we encourage you to stay in Tallahassee! Although, we do not encourage you to stay close to the university as you will run into a lot of football traffic and late night noise.

For our out of town guests not familiar with the area:

Downtown Thomasville, GA is a straight shot to the wedding venue. You will take US Highway 319 (aka Thomasville Rd) going south. The drive is about 30-35 minutes from downtown Thomasville to Maclay Gardens. Depending on where you choose to stay in Tallahassee, it could be a longer drive than just opting to stay in Thomasville.
